What is the importance of memories that last a lifetime?
A few years ago, a friend of mine brought his family to see me perform at a restaurant I was working at. I didn’t know it at the time, but his family was in deep turmoil. He and his wife were having huge arguments with their son and daughter and themselves, and divorce and loss of relationships were all very real possibilities.
After they came to see me perform, enjoying and participating in an extended close up magic show, the father told me later that the family went home, actually started talking and communicating, and his family was eventually saved.
His family had an experience that turned into a memory that became a foundation that helped save that family.
Memories are that important. They are part of what we build the foundation of our lives upon – they are part of what we look to when we are having challenges in our lives, and help keep us steady and centered.
Memories are what I create every day.
